* What is a DENIER?
A DENIER is the unit of measurement for the thickness of the thread used to make stockings and tights.
The lower the DENIER number (8, 10, 15, 20, etc.), the finer and more transparent the stocking or tight. Conversely, the higher the number (40, 70, etc.), the thicker it is and the less skin is visible.
On the other hand, there are opaque microfiber stockings and tights, in 50 and 100 den, where the skin is barely visible. These are commonly used in autumn-winter.
